Naomi Farrell, a final year Undergraduate student at Queen’s University is the fourth active member of QUB RAG to have secured a graduate post with Childreach International in the past three years.
Childreach International is an award winning international development charity currently operating in Bangladesh, India, Morocco, Nepal, Tanzania and the UK. Naomi, from Drogheda in County Louth will join their ranks as a student fundraising manager and is due to move to work from their London offices later this summer.
Naomi now joins an ever-growing list of former raggies to have secured graduate employment in the third sector and had this to say on her appointment:
“Being involved in RAG over the past three years has given me the skills and confidence to apply for roles such as the Student Fundraising Manager with Childreach International. The knowledge and experience of fundraising I have gained through volunteering with RAG has been integral to my personal development and has been a central focus point for employers when discussing job prospects. RAG has been a massive part of my time at Queen’s & I’ve loved every minute of it!”
